Vincent Gulotti, MS in Finance
Partner | Certified Investment Management Analyst®
How My Story and Expertise Shape How I Help Clients: As a Partner at Heirloom Wealth Advisors, I bring over 30 years of experience as a financial executive across diverse sectors including financial advisory, investment banking, private equity fund management, and non-profit financial leadership. My comprehensive background at firms such as Chatham Bay Group, The GMS Group, L.L.C., Sunrise Senior Living, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and Prudential Securities has equipped me with a well-rounded perspective that I leverage in every client interaction.
At Heirloom, I'm involved in all aspects of the client advisory process—from collaborating with operations and preparing client proposals to conducting investment research and executing market and strategy reviews. My educational foundation includes a Master of Science in Finance from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Delaware. I’ve earned the Series 7 & Series 66 securities registrations and I am a Certified Investment Management Analyst® professional.
What I Love Most About My Work: What truly drives me is the satisfaction of making a positive difference in people's lives. From my earliest jobs as a caddie and lifeguard to my current role in financial services, the common thread has been helping others. There's nothing quite like seeing someone smile when they realize I've added something valuable to their life, that makes this work deeply fulfilling. The opportunity to build relationships while helping clients navigate their financial journeys continues to inspire me every day.
Beyond the Numbers: I enjoy listening to music (classic rock and late 1950s to mid-1960s jazz), playing guitar, exercising, reading (op-eds, investment texts, crime thrillers, literary classics, and horror novels), sitting on the beach listening to the ocean, and swimming in it. I have been married for 27 years. My wife, Carla, and I have two children, Sophia, a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Nurse Corps, and Christopher, a Junior studying Finance & Trust Management at the University of Delaware. I enjoy traveling, spending time with our kids, being followed around the house by our two cats, Addy & Arlo, cooking, and watching the latest TV series with my wife. I’d like to run the New York City Marathon again. I did it in 2010, and it was painful. I feel like I could have been better prepared, and I’d like to improve on my initial experience.
