How My Story and Expertise Shape How I Help Clients: As the Registered Principal at Heirloom Wealth Advisors, I have the privilege of handling compliance and operations while focusing on technological updates and implementing efficient workflow strategies for our team. I joined Heirloom as a client associate in 2017 and stepped into my current role in 2023. With over eight years of experience in the financial services industry, I have obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, along with Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 securities registrations, as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses.
My professional journey took an unconventional path—I began with a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music and built a successful career as a professional musician, touring and recording for Warner Brothers Records. Later, I transitioned to advertising as an executive producer for Commercial Photography in NY and LA, managing multimillion-dollar productions, budgets, and project logistics for large national companies. These diverse experiences have honed my ability to remain steady and focused in fast-paced, high-pressure, and ever-changing environments—skills that translate perfectly to helping our clients navigate complex financial situations.
What I Love Most About My Work: In my role, I most enjoy client interactions. We meet interesting people and are in a unique position to help them in aspects beyond finance. The relationships we build and the impact we can have on clients' lives extend far beyond investment portfolios and financial statements. Being able to provide guidance, support, and solutions during both challenging and triumphant moments in their lives brings me tremendous satisfaction.
Beyond the Numbers: Who I Am Outside of Work: Originally from Camden, DE, I now reside in Landenberg, PA, with my wife, Emily, our two cats, Lulu and PeeBee, and our Bernese Mountain Dog, Rudy. Outside the office, I teach pro bono guitar lessons to high school students interested in music, allowing me to share my passion and expertise with the next generation. In my free time, Emily and I enjoy playing music together, creating harmony in both life and art. I also indulge in woodworking, camping, and chopping firewood—activities that help me stay grounded and connected to the world beyond finance.
